Nigerian Accents - What does a Nigerian sound like?

The male Nigerian romance scammer has a black and british timbre with low baritones
The official language of Nigeria is English.  If you talk to one of these Nigerian scammers, you will generally hear a British accent. Nigeria is made up of over 250 ethnic groups so they will also have their own added accent depending upon their level of education.
A good example to hear a Nigerian talk, is to google Nigerian Radio, who broadcast online or located at this link is the International Dialects of English (Archives) where you can download a recording of a male and a female Nigerian accent and listen.  IDEA - Dialects & Accents of Nigeria

Romance scammers request mobile phones and computers as birthday presents for their children (that they don't really have, although some do, there is no remorse for stealing from your children to give to their own).  They might say they cannot contact you as they need a phone, they cannot IM you anymore as they have lost their laptop etc.   They request that you ship these items to them and will give you an address to do so.

Romance scammer phone verbatim:

"Have you made transfer yet?" - when he is waiting to hear that you have been to Western Union
"I want to marry you" - when he thinks you are doubting him
"I am leaving the hotel now" - when he has received the money transfer and is getting his flight
"I want you to be the mother of my child" - when he thinks you are doubting him
